Missing Teenagers Last Seen in Grundy County Located Safe in Virginia

Update as of 1:20 PM Sunday:

Grundy County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that Jaceyln Kenadi Hampton and Katherine Marie Wrather have been found safe in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the assistance and support of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations and other agencies in this investigation. A special thank you to the public for the leads and help getting the information out. No further details are available for release at this time.

Two teenagers have gone missing in Grundy County and are believed to be traveling together.

The two missing girls are Jaceyln Kenadi Hampton, 16, of Gruetli-Laager, and Katherine Marie Wrather, 17, of Rutherford County. They were last seen getting into a car at The Rock Fitness Center in Grundy County on Friday morning, October 6, at 11:30.

That vehicle is described as a maroon or red Nissan Sentra with Tennessee license plate 625-BLDB.
