Raiders Fall to Falcons in District Baseball

On Monday night, the Coffee County Red Raiders baseball team ran into a buzzsaw with the Lincoln County Falcons.

A huge 3rd inning by Lincoln County sealed the district win as they scored 7 runs. This helped propel the Falcons to a 15-1 five-inning win.

Nate Rutledge and Davis McKenzie had hits for Coffee County, which is now 10-12-1 overall and 4-3 in District 9-AAAA play.

Lincoln County will host Coffee County on Tuesday night at 6:30. Rooster 101.5 will have updates on the game during our coverage of Lady Raider softball as the host Columbia starting at 6 PM.
