Special Instructions for Parents and Students of Clark Memorial School in Franklin County

Due to limited parking and construction materials from the roofing company all around the exterior of Clark Memorial School in Winchester, they are requesting that parents not come into the building on the first day of school. However, they are aware that some parents want to meet their child’s teacher.

For the first week of school and on certain days, parents will be allowed to come into the building between 7:45 and 9:00 AM to meet their child’s teacher.

Here is the schedule: Monday, Kindergarten, and students new to Clark Memorial; Tuesday, 1st grade; Wednesday, 2nd grade; Thursday, 3rd grade; Friday, 4th and 5th grades. Again, on Monday, August 7th, teachers will be in the hallway front entrance directing students on where they need to go. Grades K-2 will go to the cafeteria, and grades 3-5 will go to the gym. The SRO and principal will be in the front parking lot to help assist with student drop-offs. Also, please send a note to your child’s teacher as to how they will be transported home at 9:30 AM on Monday by bus or automotive pickup.
